POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Internship Program
The WooSox internship program is a comprehensive academic and professional experience that aims to help students develop the skills they need to build a career in the sports and entertainment industry. This is a part-time internship that includes working during the daytime, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Security
The Polar Park Security Department is looking for helpful, positive, knowledgeable, compassionate, energetic, and proactive individuals to be a part of the Polar Park Security Team. Security Team Members play an essential role in the safety and security operations for the park and are responsible for the overall well-being of all guests, employees, and integrity of operations.
Ticket Taker
The Ticket Taker for the Worcester Red Sox will be tasked with scanning game tickets at various access points throughout Polar Park on game days and special events. These key team members will focus on providing excellent customer service and assisting in creating a memorable experience for our fans when entering & existing Polar Park.
Ballpark Operations
Support the Polar Park Facilities/Operations departments in event set up and break down of gameday equipment/event equipment primarily consists of 6’ round tables, linens, conference chairs, stanchions, bike racks, stage risers, podiums, etc. Support the facility operations department in ballpark-wide operational tasks in preparation for Worcester Red Sox home games (resetting furniture, placing stanchions, etc.)
Broadcast Director
The Broadcast Director will direct a number of Worcester Red Sox games that are shown on NESN and NESN+. The Broadcast Director should be comfortable calling for camera cuts, replays, graphics, audio, camera shading, etc. For the entirety of the game, which includes a pregame show and postgame show.
Camera Operator
Camera Operators will set up and operate Hitachi cameras for the television broadcast, in-park video board show, MiLB stream, and ENG footage. Camera Operators are expected to set up, operate, and walk around with the wireless cameras throughout the ballpark for the television broadcast and in-game production.
Production Assistant
Production Assistant will work in a supporting role for the pregam, in-game, and event productions at the ballpark. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, editing photos/graphics and audio/video in the Adobe Suite, setup cameras/video shoots, and printing rundowns and scripts.
Ticket Seller
The Ticket Seller for the Worcester Red Sox will be tasked with selling individual game and special events tickets on both game and non-game days at our ticketing locations at Polar Park. These key team members will focus on providing excellent customer service and assisting in creating a memorable experience for our fans. The club will provide this team member with all necessary training and tools to deliver on our high expectations as we prepare to play our “WooSox 26” season!
Graphics Operator
Graphics Operators are responsible for creating, updating, and triggering the graphics for the television broadcast, in-park show, and will work with the director and producer to gather info on players, managers, upcoming promotions/events, and more for the various graphics and implement them into our package template.
Technical Director
The Technical Director takes all cues from the show director to execute the game or event broadcast and technically direct the videoboard or TV broadcast. The Technical Director will load in all creative assets prior to production, create Macros, M/E’s, etc. for broadcast and ensures all is operational and correct prior to the show.
